As usually happens whenever I make an update, there’s a new discussion thread on Slashdot where readers can talk about it and ask questions.

Keath Milligan has an interesting overview of the MMOG market, including a link to my chart.

Is Ultima Online dying?  That’s the question being discussed in this article over at Terra Nova, using some of my data (although somewhat erroneously) to support that conclusion.

This time I’ve Slashdotted myself! So far the new site has had no problems keeping up with the demand.

Final Fantasy XI has released an interesting census of its online population.  Also included is an intriguing chart of their growth over time, but it does not quite match the data they’ve released before, so I think it is meant to be somewhat abstract.

Gbob over at Corpnews has released his own interesting report on the state of MMOG industry, including subscription figures.  Our numbers are in general agreement, but some of his figures are way off.  Unfortunately he is not interested in collaborating, so I would take his numbers with a grain of salt.
